Jeez I drive some 35k a year in my job. And maybe another 5k in the car
by law I have to drive at 50 max on a single carriageway Nat speed limit road and people take all sorts of risks to overtake my van. The list of things peoples bad driving habits is vast.
Still don't understand how this thread became totally off topic. I asked a simple question and someone sensibly answered. Anyway I've found what I originally asked for so thanks for the opinions
Seen idiots doing makeup/reading/texting/eating toast and worst of all 'white van men' drinking hot coffee WHILST driving over the years. Idiots will always be idiots and deserve what they get if caught.
trouble is you never see enough coppers on the road to put a stop to it
You could try connecting one of the old speakers into the back of the multiplug at the head unit just to make sure it's ok. But I've never personally had 1 channel down. Unless stupid question but the fader and balance isn't set to turn that speaker off is it?
i was thinking the exact same thing with speaker to back of unit.thats how i found out it wasnt working,i did one speaker yesterday and put the stereo to front right only and then to passenger fron only to compare them but nothing on passenger side .
will try the speaker trick soon very soon .cheers for your input .
Quite possibly a broken wire in the door harness? Easiest way to check is with a multimeter check continuity from speaker connection to the stereo harness. I've not looked myself but would assume colour match on wires at both ends. If it is broken in the door harness you really need to replace that cable and not rejoin it at the door or it will probably break again
ill try that was thinking something to do with the head unit .all the other speakers work ok.
