id keep on at them.when a garage repiared my focus,i had black bezel head lights and the garage changed the broken one about 4 time with a chrome bezel one, i just kept chasing them until they got it right in the end.

i got fed up with the elasticated holders in the boot getting loose ,so i bought some webbing and plastic clips.removed the elastic and replaced with the webbing and clips .much better and adjustable

Ah... so you have one black interior light WITH a black corner bit, and one black interior WITH a chrome corner bit...

thats right.just want black interterior

Fair enough, I see your point. 

 

Just so everyone is on the same page here, when you say that the repair shop stuck a chrome light in your focus, can you confirm the entire interior of the light is chrome?

Or are you saying they replaced it with one where the majority of the interior is black with that 'little' corner bit being chrome?

 

(I say 'little' just to describe it, it's not a dig)

just the corner bit is chrome

You serious? The housing is a clear plastic yes? Inside the plastic to the left hand side is a yellow indicator to the immediate right is  a patch of black (that is the colour of the inside of the light - Black), the next you see is indeed chrome, that is the surround to the headlight bulb, this is chrome on every single light whether it be the black inside, silver inside, mk2 or mk2.5, the same for the sidelight etc. If you have a 'black' light NOT like this one, then I suspect you either have a custom home made job, or some aftermarket light.  :wacko:

this is the bit that looks chrome to me .i know about the rest.

 nah thats definitely the black one has chrome lenses inside as the black ones do have, but it is the black one,

looks chrome to me maybe trick of the light .

just got car back from repiarers ,and once again they have put a chrome inner headlight on instead of black.i did warn them not to.they recon they cant get a black style one ,ive seen them about.but they recon they have been superseeded by the chrome ones.do fords still sell the black ones
