#518188 Introducing Titan.. Reverse Park Camera Added!!

That front end is looking fantastic! I'm not always a fan of brows but they work brilliantly on your motor.

Any plans for the chrome strip under the windows or the alloys? Everything else has been painted black...

I'm not usually a fan of the brows either mate. On a standard car I'd usually say no. But as long as they a colour coded I think they just add to my front end in a subtle way to give headlights a mean squint.

Yes mate I've had plans to remove the silver window strips and spray them gloss black before I even recieved the damage to the front end, would have done them by now but the bumper took priority after the plank struck.

When I get time I'm going to remove the strips, along with the interior trims (b,c pillars and courtesy light surrounds etc) and I'll take the lot to my spray guy and they will all be sprayed black.

At some point I plan to have minor curbing refurbed on the alloys so I'll also have them sprayed in anthracite to finish the look off

What ideas?

On Sunday I finally got round to repairing the front end damage caused to my poor TXS by an airborne plank of wood months ago.

I also had the bloke that sprayed the new bumper spray the fog surrounds and grills in gloss black while he was at it, as well as colour coded the brows panther black to match the rest of the car. Massive improvement and really happy to be rid of the gaffa tape.

It's just unfortunate it has rained all day so I've not been able to clean the old beast and these are the best photos I could manage for now.

As soon as the weather brightens up I'll give him a full valet

Not being harsh it is whatever I want it to be and it's not a replica as they don't make a mk4 st

Not being harsh but dude if that really is your version of an ST mk4 mondeo then it's not a good attempt really. Let's be honest, all you've done is spray your factory standard grills etc in gloss black and fitted an aftermarket splitter to the factory bumper. There is nothing ST about it. It's basically a standard mondeo mk4 with the grills sprayed black. No sports tuning about it, no body kit, no beasty engine or twin exhaust. Might look better when you fit the rear lip and side skirts.

The TXS on the other hand actually is basically what would have and should have been called the ST. But they didn't call it the the ST, so I will not put an ST badge on it, because it is not an ST

#514775 Bumper Removal

Posted by Brigante on 23 August 2015 - 08:02 AM

Sorry to the late reply to my own topic mate. Been very hectic the last week. All work, no play and very little sleep.

But yes mate that info is very helpful, thank you for the quick reply. In theory it should be a relatively easy job.

I have already removed the grills and fog lights, which are currently in the process of being sprayed gloss black.

I have also acquired a good hand full of rivets (courtesy of my good old Uncle Clive  ;))

So as soon as the spraying has finished I will remove my old damaged bumper, drill out the rivets holding the sports lip on and re-rivet it on to the new bumper. I'll also rivet on the mounting brackets onto the new bumper then I'll finally be able to have my front end looking new again as at the moment it is pretty shocking.

Was hoping to of had it done by now but the spraying is taking a lot longer than expected.

Whoahhh lenny dude unessessary rant

I wasnt impyling cheap copies from philippines with a free lady boy would be better

I mearly made an observation that for the same price as what you paid for the sim free version you could of got one with a 6gig of data sim included.

Now that you said you could of had the sim but it would of been no use to you so you opted not to have it it makes perfect sense.

Dont need to talk to me about being an 'if you want it buy it' sort of guy, I bought my new car on a whim rather than keep modifying the focus due to the amount of miles it had covered. Could of bought a normal mondeo or another focus but had to go all out and buy the beastiest version going.

Price isn't an issue to me either

Like I said mate, merely an observation as to why you wouldnt want the data card but obviously theres no point having it if it wont work anyway

How are you finding the signal strength from the wifi Leonard mate?

Its a mod I'm definitely gonna do on the mondeo.

I'm dubious about the 4G claim though, as I've currently been paying an extra 2quid a month for 4G on my samsung and I honestly don't think I've experienced any '4G' speeds in the 5 or so months I've been paying for it. I'd compare my mobile data speed to dial-up at best. Complete pants. Not as if I'm anywhere rural either so what I'm paying extra for I really do not know :(

#491981 Best Start Off Upgrades For My Fiesta '05 Zetec? (Internally And Externally

Posted by Brigante on 02 June 2015 - 03:52 PM

If you do end up fitting a double din I have a sweet pioneer you may fancy and assuming the fiesta has the same quadlock connection as the focus I can throw in a complete fitting kit to make all wiring plug n play. Headunit is still brand new and worth over 300 notes itself, fitting kit was an extra 80. I'm looking for 280 for the lot

#491899 What Fits In A Focus??

I put a photo up a while ago of me fitting comfortably in the boot of my focus with my hands bound and a bag over my head in a kidnap situation
