Posted by Brigante on Yesterday, 08:37 AM

Lmao I was actually refering so a comment you made on my build thread I believe a few years ago in which you said something along the lines of 'trust your uncle stoney ;)' and I've called you it ever since but yup you have advised me a great deal on a number of matters via PM...

May God have mercy on my soul

Contacted the seller and basically said the camera they sold me is naff at it's intended purpose. Will see what they come back with..

In the meantime, decided to swap out the blue led switch for a red one to match the rest of the stock lighting/submarine lighting

Also decided to waterproof it at the same time.

Looks pretty good

My camera has arrived today and I was really hoping to get it fitted and wired in but I'm unexpectedly having to work tonight so I had to sleep in late.

Hopefully I'll get the camera cracked out tomorrow and report back with photos

Lol no fear must have noticed they wasn't selling any of the new standard cans so they was forced to bring back the old cans

At first only asda used to sell them so I had to make a trip there every few weeks to buy a case or 2 at a time. Then tesco must have caught on as my local store starting selling em but I still had to buy a case at a time when I could just because they sold like mad and I'd often find a big empty hole on the shelf where some goits had nabbed them all already.

Then no fear swapped the cans and suddenly tesco werent selling any at all and there was always full cases of em left on the shelf. Tesco must have dropped them when they realised they'd stopping selling the stuff.

Now asda has brought back the old can so hopefully tesco will follow suit

If your toying with the idea of side skirts at 180quid mate I still have the ms design body kit going

Sideskirts should fit straight on as they already the right colour but the front/rear lip will need spraying

Full bodykit for near enough the same price as a set of unprimed skirts

Any luck finding the link for the wheel centres yet mate?

Yup I have to say I was concerned about the heat but the total cost of all parts required will be little over 15pounds so if it does't work I haven't lost much

You may have me mistaken though, as the camera isn't for recording and doesnt have any buttons etc to go wrong. It is simply a parking camera except it is made for being located af the front/sides of a vehicle as it doesn't reverse the image or have the guidance lines.

It will just be used on odd ocasions when parkinig up close to another car, fence, wall or object in situations where it can be difficult to judge where the nose of my car is. As the parking sensors will be going mad as if I'm about to hit said object but when I get out and check the distance I'm a good few feet away and I wanted to get as close as possible.

The camera listing says that it will work in temperatures up to 75c. Is the lower front grill area likely to be a lot hotter than this? It will only be used for a few seconds at a time anyway like the reverse parking camera would.

Looks sweet

Been toying with the idea of doing it on my mondy but not sure if it would look right on a longer car

Really need some side skirts to go with the stripes now though dude. Would finish the sides off beautifully

I really want to get those wheel centre caps as I have the same wheels

How much was they?

Today the baby mother and I went for the 20week scan

Checked all the measurements and placenta and the heart etc and everything seems to be developing as it should be

Unfortunately the scan pictures arent as detailed as the last ones but here they are

Here you can see it face on

Amazing seeing it on the ultrasound, precious lil thing wouldn't stay still

We have also been able to feel it kick for the last week or so

While at the scan we asked to find out the s*x so we can think better about names and go out and buy colour coded clothing etc apposed to neutral stuff

Any guess's what we are having?

Here's a clue...

Thats right...

It's a BOYYYY!!!!

No mistaking it, the woman moved the scanner to between it's legs and there was definitely a willy there

I actually asked the woman about 3 times and she said yup it's definitely a willy

So I'm having a son, still hasn't sunk in properly yet, all that matters is that they are healthy

Very excited indeed

Put the deflector in first, then get a screw driver and push the clip on behind the deflector. You can comfortably push the clip all the way in so it fits to the shape of the recess and then put the windows up. You put one clip each end of the rear deflectors where there is excess lip.

Roll the windows up and leave em up for half an hour or so

#483558 Mondeo Mk4 Headlight Afs Or Xenon

Posted by Brigante on 08 May 2015 - 02:32 AM

Yup I personally think you are safe to bid on them

The headlights are very near identical to the xenons but even saying that, the second I looked at the ebay listing I instinctively thought they was AFS. Can tell by the lens, the housing around the lens appears wider, as if theres extra room at the sides for the lens to move side to side making the lens appear generally larger n rounder compared to the xenon

The fitment at the back definitely looks like it'll take a stand h7 bulb and I didn't think the wiring at the back of the ebay listing photos looked like the wiring anywhere at the back of my headlights

Posted by Brigante on 02 May 2015 - 05:40 PM

I'm confused as to why I'm not seeing the driver of the other car getting out and dragging the idiot out of the car via the window

They both seem to continue driving like nothing happened

#481826 Shop In?

Posted by Brigante on 02 May 2015 - 01:33 PM

It's not even that they are getting away with not paying. Well its only a small part of it. It's more that they are dangerous scum that shouldn't be on the road

A lot of them haven't taken a driving test and don't really know how to drive, or they have passed their test but have done something stupid to lose their licence like drink driving and have been deemed by the law that they are not safe to be on the road
