Park Assist

My OEM park assist has started to play up this morning. When I put the car in reverse ( with nothing behind me) it wails for 3 seconds then I get 8 beeps.

 

I've unplugged everthing and checked for cut wires and cleaned all the sensors, still no luck.

 

Anybody know what the errors codes are if any?


Ecoboost Fiesta

Just been out for a test drive in the new ecoboost Fiesta 125 ps version and I am sold!

It drives just like a diesel with plenty of low down torque, I didn't rev the !Removed! of it as it was brand new but compared to my 1.6 TDCi it has plenty of grunt low down and at 70 on the motorway.

The steering also has more weight and it does feel more planted on the road. Taking off with that 3 cylinder engine sounds lovely, would be even better with a fruity exhaust!

One thing I did notice is Ford have removed the peeling door seals.

Absolutely love it! :D

Lane Departure Retro-Fit

My 2011 Zetec has the lane departure setting on the dash menu but this has never been an option for the Fiesta.

I have noticed a convenient hole in the head lining above the rear view mirror for the forward facing camera used in the system.

Anyone retro-fitted one?
