Facelift 1.0 125 - How Is It?

Good afternoon guys and gals,

 

Just wondering what people think of the 1.0 125 engine in the new Fiesta, looking at the specs it looks to good to be true, 0-62 in 9.9 sec in a 1L, 65 MPG. 

 

I am thinking about getting a Zetec-S, or if I can afford it an ST.

 

Love the new Zetec-S face with the Honeycomb grill. I have ridden in the Titanium (1.0 99) and that was quite good (seemed faster than my 1.25L 82) and the 1.0 non turbo 80 and that does not seem too sad for a 1.0L but wouldn't get that engine.

 

Want to hear from owners, how it feels, how it goes, sounds, sups petrol etc.

Drivers Side Speaker Rattelling!!

2012 Fiesta Zetec - Standard Ford stereo (Bluetooth, Aux, USB - 6 Speakers).

Since I've had the car the drivers side speaker always rattelles, even when there is hardley any bass.

All the other speakers are fine, it seems to be getting worse.

Does anyone have a solution? would this be covered under warranty or sale of goods act as it's driving me crazy and makes my car seem cheap! what would otherwise be a decent sounding system is ruined by that one speaker.

It could be a loose screw or something, is there anyway of opening the plastic bit?

Fiesta Mk7 - Iphone 4/4S Fits In The Hole Above Gear Knob Perfect.

Just a quick thing that made me happy. I was using my iPhone as a sat nav (using the new iOS6 Apple maps, powered by tomtom, one of the best sat nav apps I have used).

It worked through the bluetooth, Music and the sat nav voice worked in harmony.

I put my iPhone 4S into the little cubby hole above the gear knob, landscape (Sideways) and it fit perfectly and looked very lush, kinda built in look, it diddent fall out when turning or anything as the way the Fiestas hole is made, it rested on the plastic outings and would not fall out what so ever.

I'm thinking of putting a thin rubber/cottony interior into the hole, as not to scratch my iPhone and make for an even cuddlier fit..

I just thought I would share that, as it made my day.

Fiesta Mk7 Air Con - 2012 - Always Turns Itself On.

Hi All,

I've had my MK7 Fiesta for about 2 weeks now, loving the car.

The only thing I've noticed is that the Air Con turns itself on (the light is on the A/C Button), even when the heat switch is in the hot red bit ? this could be affecting my MPG. Is this normal, does the A/C just decide to turn on whenever it wants?

if not would I need to take it back to Ford ?
