I am speaking to a few Ford dealers at the moment but having problems with salespeople never getting back to me or taking forever to give me simple details.

Has anyone had any fully satisfied purchase history with a Ford dealer? Preferably in the South East and sales departments willing to do a deal!

Hello all!

 

I have got my mind set on getting the new Focus Titanium (or Titanium X).

 

I know that I am going to be keeping the car long term but I am having trouble deciding if it is worth upgrading for the extra £2,000!

 

Does anyone know of any options included for the Titanium X that would make it worth going for the higher spec?

Looking into possibly getting a Fiesta with the new Ecoboost engine, was just wondering if the quoted figures from Ford for MPG is anywhere near accurate. Have seen between 55-70 advertised depending on style of driving etc.

I currently have a 2011 Ford Fiesta Edge 1.25 82ps with around 15,000 miles on it. I bought the car a year ago when it was an ex-demo car, I have done around 10,000 since I have had the car.

I saw with Dagenham Motors that they have an offer on the new 2013 Ford Fiesta Titanium at £12,495 (with the option to upgrade from 80ps to 100ps for another £600 odd).

They have offered me a rough figure of £6,000 part ex for my current car subject to a viewing.

Obviously the Titanium model includes a lot more gadgets and to me, most importantly, the ecoboost engine.

I have been told by a few people that my current cars value will drop significantly in the next few months as it goes past the two year old mark.



Does anyone have any suggestions as to if I should upgrade and why?

Seeing as I paid £8,500 at the start of Feb last year for my current car this seems like a good deal to get all of the extra tech and the new more economical engine.

I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta Edge 1.25. It's a pretty straightforward car, as a 20 year old I saw this at a discounted price and snapped it up! Runs like a dream compared to my 04 Seat Ibiza SX, much more reliable and comfortable too.

Only problem I have noticed so far is the door seals seem to be coming away on both the driver and passenger doors, is this a warranty issue? Is it quite regular to have these kinds of problems?
