You can't compare a diesel to a petrol with miles per tank! I believe your fuel tank is 58.5 litres, if your fuel light just comes on at 300 miles, its approx 40 miles more in the tank which works out to 26 MPG. Depending on your driving style etc 26 MPG is possible, but I would say unlikely. I would expect 32-35MPG out of a 2 litre lump with normal driving. If you can smell petrol you may have a leak, which would explain the lower economy.

Macs don't have a centralised database like windows machines. Pretty sure a call to M$ is in order, with your PID (the code it gives you in the help/about section in word if you boot to the old hard drive. They might be helpful and give you a fresh key with this code as it shows you had a genuine copy.

It may have been an anpr van to catch uninsured drivers rather than to catch speeders

Need more of them to be honest. Could do with more patrols as the amount of little scroats on their phones around here is ridiculous as well, nearly got rear ended as I was sitting in traffic because he was too busy leaning out of the window on the phone.

In Topic: New 1.6 Tdci Fiesta Mpg?

They are by no means fast though! You won't be pulling out on fast roads without a gap as far as you can see lol

From the financial side of things they make a lot of sense, no matter your mileage - free road tax, easy 60mpg. If the vehicle is leased or under a warranty then the extra things to go wrong aren't a problem either, soon as the miles start to rise and warranties expire though you've got turbos and injectors to fail which are not cheap jobs.

The fiesta is nearly on 50k and has new discs, brakes the full job after one failed. Which set the leasing company back £260 just for that. It has some annoying rattles, silver trim around instrument cluster, somewhere passenger side too.
