It started life as a zetec (and still is according to etis), but all ford paperwork with it says titanium, registered as a titanium from number plate checks and also has rear badge. So really its a zetec with some optional extras from what I can gather. I was aware of the options list before and it was my belief that all titaniums had cruise, auto lights/wipers/dimming mirror, Sony, climate control and powerfold mirrors? If it wasn't a leased car I would be jumping around saying its on false plates lol
You can pick up whole front ends including rads for £5-600 on eBay. But honestly I can't be bothered with it, my no claims is worth more to me for the car I have my eyes on when the policy runs out. Will eBay as is.
Unfortunately due to the course I am taking... "The studies of LED number plate bulbs, paying special attention to the 36mm festoon style LED systems used in the pre-facelift 54-08 plate, paying special attention to the sea grey zetec 3dr hatchback, their construction and resilience under real world conditions" wasn't allowed. So lets save the planet instead with lots of solar energy, woo! lol
I haven't had a map done yet mate.
The guy I know who is doing my remap is recovering after a major operation so im in limbo at the minute.
When he is well enough to see me, im going to opt for a middle-of-the-road map I think.
I want to try to strike a good balance between more power and good economy.
As long as the camera can see you then it's got you.
If you exceed the posted limit by more than 1/3 then a speed awareness course will not be offered.
I myself got a ticket for 40 in a 30 zone, bit embarrasing considering my job, but I did the awareness course and when they go around the room asking what everyone does for a job I felt a bit of a twit.
My problem is that I'm trained to drive safely at speeds way above legal limits and sometimes the boundaries can blur (I easily forget that I'm in my own car and not my work one), however I'm not above the law I uphold and take my licks the same as everyone else.
Unlike some unscrupulous Officers (it has been known to happen) I don't wave my warrant card around and expect special treatment.
To err is human after all.
I would have said I was in a different line of work in your situation!
WHAT!?!?!? Why on earth that much?
Because insurance companies are #@!"£$%^&*()! Oh and I'm 20. lol
