Crap Handbrake

The handbrake on the Focus was always very good, but lately i noticed it has went to !Removed!.

Today i adjusted up the slack on the cable at the handbrake as the cable felt a bit stretched. So now the handbrake feels firm within a couple of clicks, but the braking force is still rubbish, not good as im alwaws parked on a steep slope.

What could this be?

Im looking a airintake which goes from the airbox to the turbo for a 2003 focus.

Anyne know of any good online sites for price for ford parts which arent everyday consumeables?


Split Intake Pipe

My airintake pipe from the airbox has a split in it.

I was going to tape it well up with black insulating tape untill i got another one, but i know i will probably end up not touching it again until i need to.

There wouldnt be any harm in just wraping it in tape would there as long as there isnt any leaks into it?


Mk1 Rear Lights Removal

What and where holds the rear on a mk 1 as i need to reseal one of them?

Water In Spare Wheel Well.

Every so often i get a small build up of water in the boot where the spare wheel goes. It seems to be coming form the drivers side corner of the boot. Most likely the rear lights needing sealed i think.
I've read that tigerseal is the dogs, but is it wise to use this on the rear lights just incase one would need replaced in the future from being damaged.?
As id never get them off again
