Winter Tyres Recommendations Please!

I'm off to Germany over Christmas and New Year by car. It is law in Germany to have winter tyres.

Can anyone recommend some good but cheap priced winter tyres?

I have a 2005 Ford Focus Ghia.

My Stereo Won't Work - 6000Cd Rds Eon

My stereo won't work. If I take off the security cover (buttons 2, 3, 4 and 5) the red security light is on permanently).

Does anyone know how to make it work again?

My stereo no longer works.  If I take the security tab off the front of my radio - push button numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 I see the security red light on permanent.

Is it locked?  Is there someway of making the stereo working again??
