#454029 Mk7+ Fiesta - How Many Miles 2008 Model Year Onwards

Posted by shabazmo on 12 February 2015 - 10:17 PM

I am doing some research on how well the MK7, 8 is progressing since its introduction in 2009.  For this poll I am interested in the number of miles owners have on their cars.

Your help would be grateful and when your mileage increases, you can delete your vote and vote at the next level.

It would also be helpful if you could post how many miles you do each year

Honest answers please.

Thank you.

Oh, and I do 11,000 miles each year

#452218 Engine Flush/oil Change.

I am crazy about oil changes but 500 miles? Yep a waste of money.  My mum does about 1000 miles a year, so it will be 3 years for a change. The engine will outlast the rest of the car even though it is garaged.

Gary, higher profile has more rubber and air to absorb impacts hence it will help reduce buckling.  regarding curbing, if the rim is 15mm higher, then it might just miss the kerb.  regarding parking more carefully, its my 20 year old daughters car who thinks driving is a contact activity.

#368684 Black Panther Or Deep Impact Blue

Black is by far the best colour for the fiesta.  The black is just stunning when clean. BUT, if you are not a person that loves to clean their car, go for blue.  Black is horrible when not clean.

#280754 Rust Bubbles Showing On Rear Arch

Ramps, Thanks for the post.  What we will need to do is apply rust proofer on the wheel arch each year to stop it rusting. Posts like this is what makes this forum great.
