Yes, i was cleaning the EGR/Intake manifold with Wynns Diesel EGR Cleaner during lunch, i decided the use the plastic straw this time to try to get it towards the furthest cylinder, i even held the straw with my hand but momentarily lost contact as i wiggled the can around and the straw went straight into the intake. it did make clattering noises for a few seconds before i switched the engine off.
turned the engine back on and it made some knocking noises for a few seconds but then everything went back to normal. i let it idle (engine temp was already around 110c) for 10-20mins and it seems fine now, even while driving.
im hoping that it has just melted away inside the cylinder head but is there anything i should do? a couple of forums suggest sticking a vaccum cleaner on the end of the intake and sucking to see if anything comes out
