#260789 Will These Fit?

you need 4x108 with a 63.4mm centre bore so those alloys won't fit unless you've got a 20lb sledgehammer.

#252831 What Is Your Distance To Empty ? And What Engine ?

Posted by Dal. on 16 April 2013 - 07:41 PM

Most I ever had after a few economy runs was 400 miles on fill up. It's normally about 300-330 miles though which is what I get to a tank to the light.

Focus 2.5T mildly modified..

Been every year since 2006 - from 2007 with my Puma forum which makes it a rewarding if knackering day!

I'll have my car on the PassionFord stand though this year as my club is Puma only.

Take sun tan lotion, cash and food unless you want to pay £7+ for a tasteless burger....

If you rag the nuts out of your car all the time then I'd get it done sooner than if you were miss daisy.

No offence taken : I'm running a tad modified and I'm not going to wait until 125k or 10 years! Probably next year when it hits 70/80k.

It's all opinion though at the end of the day - Ford state a time schedule - it's up to individuals to decide if they want to follow them.

PS: As an aside; I run a Puma forum, and even though they're known to be free revving engines, I've only heard of 3 belts / tensioners going in all the time I've been associated with them. Forums / websites only ever hear of the horror stores and not the thousands of "non-horror" stories.

It's 125k miles or 10 years according to the service schedules on ETIS.

#247689 Avon Tyres Any Good ? Anybody Had Them?

Posted by Dal. on 29 March 2013 - 08:04 PM

Avon are ok but I'd never put anything else but Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 on my car now having tried quite a few different ones.

Have a read around at http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk for real world opinions on a variety of cars.

>Goodyear asymmetric 2 results<

>Avon ZZ3 results<

£102.50 each from >Camskill<

Then pay a local tyre fitter (I get mine done at ATS for a £10 for as many as I take in..lol) to fit them.

Have you recorded your journeys with a log file yet? Dead cool when you lay them back over the map - you can see all your data as you went along!

(Like max boost coming off roundabouts.. lol)
