I decided to get myself a tuning box off ebay, CR-box 130bhp - 163 bhp.

 

Has anyone already tried these? if so what do you think?

 

I am not really looking for better mpg as stated in the advert etc although that would be good! but I am more interested in a bit of a power gain in the higher gears, the standard Mondi 130bhp seems to stop spinning as wildly when it gets into fourth gear and the torque also seems to drop off a bit, soooo, for £59 english pounds I thought I would give this a go?

 

I had a 2004 Mondeo Black estate(150 bhp) (full leather etc) a couple of years ago and it did seem to gather much more momentum through the latter gears so I am thinking this tuning box may give me a similar experience?

I will wait for the box and fit it and put my response back on this thread for those that may be interested!

Can anyone give me a time it should take for the front screen to clear frost in a morning?

 

I havent really used the screen defrost since I brought it and have generally used the MAX switch/ setting on the heater.

 

I turned the ignition on this morning and both front and back screen defrost buttons lit up so I decided to let them do their worst instead of cancelling them and using the max setting.

 

I sat and waited for approx 2 minutes and nothing was happening, is this normal and should I have waited longer?

I switched the MAX heater setting on and it cleared in a minute or so.

 

My missis's old x reg focus cleared the screen in less than a minute so I am either doing something wrong or I have a fault???

Am I able to fit the new shape mondeo alloy wheels to my 2007 old shape Mondeo?

Hi everyone,

 

After 2 months of ownership I am loving my Mondeo, no problems whatsoever except for an ecu glitch when I stalled it, for some reason the fuel gauge started reading zero along with the fuel range also???? no idea either, turned it off and restarted and 5 miles down the road all was right again>???

 

Anyhow, whilst commuting to work every day at 5am I am inclined to listen to radio 2 (I am of a certain age!) but I am finding the speaker system sounds cack!

Can anyone give me a pointer to what speakers I can easily swap for the standard ones that will give me a good improvement.

I dont mind spending a few quid if anyone has installed a reasonable system they want to share.........lol....sub £400 please.

Hi all,

Pretty simple one really!

My petrol/diesel filler flap will not spring open when using the pull lever at the side of the driver seat and I have to manually jerk it open to fill up, I guess this is a common problem? ...any pointers etc?
