Focus 1.8 Tdci Gray Smoke And Hissing Sound From Engine On Hard Acceloration

Hi All

Have noticed on my Focus that when accelorating im getting a loud hiissing / blowing sound from engine and also gray smoke from exhaust, there are no performance or starting issues. Any ideas

Hi All
My focus seems to not like cold mornings anymore, it cranks over ok, and manages to fire up after a while, but it splutters and chugs into life and will not tick ove smoothley until its warmed up a little. Could it be glow plugs or fuel filter or both.
