Thanks for all the advice guys!

 

Had a call from the Ford garage today and it was the starter motor causing all the bother!

 

A replacement has been ordered and it will be fitted sometime early next week  :D

Thanks for the cost advice!

Also I was thinking the same about the starter!
Read somewhere online that it could be down to clutch dust as the new clutch is worn in, drying out the starter which will just need oiling?

Will post results as I hear back from the garage tomorrow :)

It's even a 62 plate haha, only had it since September!

Booked in to get looked at tomorrow, have told them I don't want it coming back until it's fixed!
Fingers crossed?

Does anyone know if it will cost anything to be looked at/repaired since its under warranty?

Will keep you updated.

I think have the same problem!

Ford Fiesta Metal, bought September 2012.

It seems to come from the offside (drivers side) rear wheel. Same speed as your description and seems to be recurring more often.

Did you get yours checked out? Let me know what the problem was as soon as you can?
I'm paranoid about this as the Metal is a great car and I don't want any further damage to occur!
