Dark Fader

Hullo fellow Mk 7's

Tony here – Jan '13 just taken delivery of black 2011 Titanium and lovin' it so far.
Me? – Very old at 62 – 63 in June – "Old enough to know better" but "Too old to be bothered".

All started in late 60's with a Cortina GT – various other Fords eventually ended up in the 80's building a custom Transit – truckers seats, pearl red paint, white wolfrace wheels, Spoilers top and bottom, running boards etc….
Late 90's Peugot 206 GTi – raced it at Santa Pod in a  "Run what ya brung" (against a Turocharged Evo!! And lost!)
Much loved PT Cruiser next - ended up with Borbet wheels, lots of chrome add-ons and piece de resist – stick on bullet holes which everyone thought was real !!!

Demise of PT (sad day) black focus, tinted windows = "Dark Fader"…. Wanted Fiesta …. Got one.
"Dark Fader 2" is born – possibly last chance to "Grow Old Disgracefully" – Mostly visual mods to come but it's amazing how different the car looks already with door wind deflectors (!) Red footwell LEDs installed last night - Back lights to go – set of Lugano wheels on the list – need some help in finding a front splitter that fits – anyone know of one??
