What Should My Rpm Be On My Fiesta Mk4 Zetec 1.3 2000 Model. Help!

What should my rpm be. Doing 60mph on motoway. In 5th gear straight and flat road. I think they are to high? I seam to be using way to much petrol? I take my time goi g through the gears to. I'm only doing 150 miles to half a tank of petrol. Is that normal?
