noticed a few times that when changing from,say 4th to 5th gear,if the revs are at 2k when putting clutch in,they'll stay at 2k for a few seconds. if i double clutch they'll come down slowly. very strange indeed.

anyone got any idea's? ive been thinking along lines of clutch/aaccelerator sensor mechanism,but wanted to ask here 1st in case anyone's came across this before. only happens every now & then,but you know these motors,it'll end up happening more n more lol

i know some fordds have this c*ap anti stall feature but it cant be that surely.also was thinking of clutch sensor.mmm

A big company in scotland got in touch with me this morning to reply to my email asking them about mapping out the EGR on my euro 4 engine,& remap(econ).
Great news!!! They can finally do it. And not just cancelling out the EML-they amend the map totally to bypass all egr readings etc/compensate for it.
Cant wait. Only £285 inc vat. Along with the delete' it comes with a remap. It should return an extra 35/40 hp also.
Think i'll wait til i get mines done before naming them on here though. Bit of a wee waiting list but just glad to get my name down. Told the guy thered be a lot more folks wanting it done,especially off of forums etc

would anyone else be interested? Think he said they have branches in england also so no trek upto scotland maybe.

Thats £67 for a set of 8. unbelieveable. Ebay as well (supposed to be cheaper!). Theyre not even OEM gaskets as OEM's are blue. How do these people  sleep at night. 400 mark-up-JOKE!!Steer clear o this guy

as title states,does anyone have any idea where to buy inlet manifold seals? some places are nearly £30 for 8(some=£40!!).

or anyone have part numbers for them for buying from jaguar? Im constantly amazed how much cheaper jaguar are,compared to Ford. EGR from jaguar was nearly half price of ford if i remember right.

Im getting some readings from my MAP/MAF sensor(both changed for new ones)

The MAP sensor coming from intercooler(drivers side on pipe under headlight area) is only reading 0.03volts & doesnt budge,even after replacing. also both maf/map sensors seem to read erratic when driving along at steady speed ieMAP reads for example: 0.1, 8.0 2.9  

same with MAF but not SO erratic. 

My EGR valve doesnt seem to open much either. vacuum appears to be working ok.

On the snap-on,it seems to have a map readinng in Kpa,so cant tell whether its 1bar or not.

Anyone have any experiences like this before? Im wondering if it could be a faulty/corrupt PCM/ECU.

Anyone have any advice? Im stumped.
