If anyone else is finding there engine makes a good vibration noise while cold then i have found a cure!

My engine has a a cover over it in which at the front is a sponge fitting to keep it above the engine parts. The sponge had worn out causing a horrible loud vibration noise while cold.

Simply use a kitchen sponge, cut off the green top and then shape to the same size as the original sponge on the cover. Simply glue using strong adhesive and walla!

No more vibrations.

After researching alot i am finding it hard to find out what actual bulb sizes you need inside the car. There is a sticky saying the basic bulbs ie head lights, number plates and the 1 interior one.

None saying about other interior lights so thought we could get a thread with the bulb sizes and lists to websites that sell them.

For some reason since ive had the car sometimes it starts instantly no issues.

Other times maybe 1 out of 5 it will sit there struggling like its nearly started yet applying slight pressure to the accelerator will make it start.

Theres no misfires, no loss of performance, was serviced in December. No management lights come on nor any trouble codes.

Havent been on for a while as ive been busy.

For some reason i seem to feel that my car lacks sportyness compared to other focus's i see around. I have the titanium model which looks brilliant inside but seems to be lacking something outside.

What would you suggest to make it more sportier?

Also looking at some performance mods, what kind of mods could i do which would give some sort of gains. Not looking at ripping the engine apart and rebuilding !Removed!, just replacing smaller parts. (Already have a K&N filter replacement)

One last thing, is it possible to change to the climate control version heaters or is that to much of a job? The car has aircon.

My glovebox has the vent at the back which blows in air..

Whats the purpose/use of this? How do you switch it on and off?

Does it warm and cool?

Does it actually work or just a gimic?
