I did mine at 10 year's, because the little thing hasn't got to 100k miles not even close, budget for a new set of stretch belts as they can't be re used and also a water pump as they are as soft as anybody's in these engines unless it has been changed previously (not such a problem to do later as it gets a piggy back drive from the aux stretch belt and so doesn't require cam belt off)

Grab the spring and give it a wiggle. Otherwise push the wing so that car bounces on the front side where the noise comes from.

Right its not the best but you can see it a little bit, but not alot, haha, i think its made to look worse in my case by the continental stamps on the belt, also the AC belt isn't 100% centered on the pulley, but its one of them things where you see it once and keep on listening out or looking for it, i mean its hardly got a severe wobble to be fair but it may be that the little zse engines are like it because i have a feeling that the little amount of wiggle is what causes the cold engine belt squeak on 7/10 mk6s i see in the work car park starting from cold. Im wondering if it would be possible to check the bolt tightness from above as i cant be asked to take the wheel and splash guard off ;) , haha.

It should be the choice of

1: Off
2: Parking/Side Lights
3: Headlights (Pull indicator towards yourself for FULL beam)

With an empty car the numbered dial should be left at 0 as it levels the headlights with a trailer it would be 3-4 depending on the weight and I think adding a passenger to the back of the car would require position 1, it's best left on 0 90% of the time.
