Hi Jamie. Funny you should say that but if I slowly pull away it does change a lot easier. I tried the 2nd gear pull away with the hand brake on tonight and it stalled so def not the clutch. Sounds like a slight fault on some of the fiesta

Not sure about the modern fiesta's but the older ones sufferd with a air lock in the inner heater matrix. Has the car always used coolant and not just water. if not rust could have caused a partial blockage. Sounds like a blockage, or as someone said, the Thermostat. Personally i would empty, flush out with proper chemical flush and then try. At the same time replace the thermostat. If that fails then a bad blockage somewhere

Hi mate. Maybe the same thing but I have a rally puma, my friend has a newer shape fiesta and another has a Mk6. All have suffered with a stuck rear brake shoe. They have always been when the weather was wet/damp and it got cold. Must freeze up somehow. once one of the cars couldnt actually be moved until the next day as it was so bad. Maybe the same problem

In Topic: Help. Sludge In Oil Filler Cap :(

Thanks nathan. i remember a few years ago an old ford I had blew the head gasket and before it died totally the you could see oil floating in the coolant. The coolant in mine is still a bright orange. It makes sense tho about the filler cap. And it has been cold recenntly to. i read somewhere that for every litre of petrol burnt the engine produces a litre of water. if your doiing very short durneys i guess it wont get hot enough to burn the water out
