Has anyone removed the door panel (preferably driver's side) yet. I know there is a guide for the Mk7 but the 7.5 is different. I do not wish to put too much pressure on the fixing since I may be doing it wrong or break them.
My problem is that when I shut the door there is no longer a satisfying 'clunk' but more of a clang. I think that perhaps the sound deadening has come loose.
I have now had my Fiesta Ecoboost 100bhp for 12 months. I took it to my supplying dealer fir its first service. I noticed the fixed price service cost for a Fiesta is £152 in small print £25 extra for turbo. Question what extra work is done because the car has a turbocharger or is this just another rip off?
I hope there is someone out there who can help. I have had my Titanium for 10 months brilliant car but can anyone recommend a good glass cleaner that will not leave streaks. My main concern is the inside of the windscreen which develops a haze which I believe is cause by the gases given off by the plastics in the plastics used in the car. I have tried Turtle wax, windowlene (?) and all the usual glass cleaning products.
Just thought I would warn all 7.5 Titi owner of a problem that has arisen. The LED strip in the headlight unit works only intermittently. Took it to my supplier who agreed that it was a warranty issue and the whole headlight unit is to be replaced ( can't believe that the led cannot be replaced alone) the headlight is on back order I asked if there was any idea when it would arrive - 'how long is a piece of string was the answer' - Christmas perhaps?
Another worrying feature for when the car is out of warranty or the unit is broken - replacement cost on today's figures £250 + vat.
