Posted by nazsky786 on 12 August 2014 - 07:49 PM

Ok. So that prob why there is do much water. Boot out of light and the focus has a common problem. I will try that tomorrow also. Just need to stop water getting in. I'm worried that I might mess up the sub or I get a major rust issue.

I open the boot today to see loads of water and I mean loads. I have like a litre of water in the boot. You can see water drops on the subwoofer, and on the parcel shelf . I was hit in the back by a f****** stupid !Removed!. I've got issues not of water in boot and the dash saying boot is open till u open it and close it abit more. The repair shop has said the boot lid looks ok but it don't feel in line when you run your fingers in the grooves. Is this a sign that my car is twisted and it's time to let it go?

The guy hit the car while it was stationary which is the worse. And he won't pay for it . He's hide his car so I carnt get his reg . And police don't care. He my neighbour as well.

Can anyone help I a temporary fix or is it best to sell the car?

#392955 Not Starting. Immobiliser?

If you had a accident in the car, most likely the fuel pump would have been shutdown. To start it again the the a hole in the driver side kick panel closest to the door. Inside that hole is a red button push it and then try by first priming. Check this switch if it's not that then we need to do further checks.

Hello, The seat belts are long enough to secure a child seat. I know because I did take my niece out somewhere.

Are you 100% you installed it correctly. Use the seat belts on the rear closes to the doors don't use the centre.

Spray the cap as well and choose between Matt or gloss but should look good.

Might just be the charger not working. Check to make sure you checked the correct fuse. Most chargers have a fuse within themselves as well.

I need some help with this mod, I'm thinking I will have to tap into the driver foot well light.

I want to put led light strips on the side skirts. So when you lock and unlock doors the side skirts will light up.

I think this would make the car look so good at night.

And light up when in reverse so helps see curb at night to stop alloy scratching.

Any tips will help.

You can get a new cover from Ford or search a scrappy. On mk1 I think there is a seal which you need to change as the old seal should never be used again. But sound like the cover a seal are just there doing nothing. So I would replace them but get a new seal not one from scrappy.

#365318 Major Issue.

Posted by nazsky786 on 18 May 2014 - 11:43 AM

Ford already tried that. They disconnected battery. Tried using there diagnostics and all the come up was the GEM not responding. They even tried connecting my old gem and old cluster that didn't work. Tried copying my setting from old gem and putting it on new one that didn't work. Ford are lost on what the problem is. The gem having issues makes the airbag module have issues. Ford sent sure if there is a fuse to the gem itself. They printed a gem wiring diagram for me. So I'm going to check all the cables are connected fuses etc. Wish me luck.
