I much preferred Mark's first suggestion of just disconnecting the 'switch wire'. Even I would have managed to do that safely   :)

Anyway, spoke to the sparky doing the house next door, same company but different guy, and showed him the pics and he reckons it won't be a major job to sort if we get a light we like  ;)

Cheers for all the info even though 90% of it went right over my head. Shows what a good forum this is  B)

Yes sorry. I should have said it better.

Seeing people in lifted pickups climbing in and out whilst parked in a disabled space boils my p***!!!

#484094 Serious Question For Logical And Clever People

You say you used to work for that company and that you are leaving the industry they are connected too. You've got nothing to lose but anyone staying in one of those places has the chance to lose something really special ie a life!

It's a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned. The advice given in the post above by Jeremyc seems to be spot on. But maybe start by deleting this thread  ;)

Good luck in what you choose to do.

No point, they can indicate and still stuff it up. I find people are very good at indicating left to go straight on, because they think they need to indicate at least one junction before.

They do the exact opposite up here! Indicate right to go straight ahead! ie 2nd exit on a 4 way roundabout. Does my head in especially when I've had to bring 30 odd tons of truck to a complete halt to allow the 'indicating right' vehicle to cross in front only for it to indicate left at the last minute and exit from the junction I'm sitting at!!!!!  :censored:

And why are duvets about 1 cm longer one side than the other. Either make them square or blatantly rectangular. It does my head in getting a king size duvet in, smoothed and ready to find its in sideways and I have to start the entire process again.

In my experience I've found that 'usually' there's a tag sewn into the bottom seam  ;)

#475168 Your Realistic Next Car?

I also really like the new Mustang, except its over 5 grand more expensive, and might not be as practical as the Mondeo. And it may also attract the wrong kind of attention. The Mondeo is more of a 'sleeper'.

You've got to ask yourself the question though. When your speaking about cars in the pub and someone asks what you drive, what sounds better?

"I drive a Mondeo" or "I drive a Mustang!" :)
