#488509 Fiesta St Time!

I added the mountune upgrade to my screen wash, & I've got to say it's now brilliant.

I'd wait in case you exceed 'casual day in day out driving'.

#486851 White Or Copper Pulse ?

I wouldn't have a brown car, no matter what they call it.

Those fuel consumption figures are terrible, if you drive it properly you should be getting less than 30 mpg.

None I've noticed so far, just sounds louder & more 'sporty'.
As I've said before it's a bit 'boomy' between 3500 - 4000 rpm, even starts to hurt the ears a bit (that could just be because I'm old now),
But all in all sounds really nice, especially when giving it some through the gears to the red line.

#483540 Possible Oil/fluid Leak!!!! Pls Help!

Can't really tell anything from the photos, but the noise you describe sounds like a worn clutch release bearing to me.
It is possible for it to make that noise for years, but I'd get the whole clutch changed as soon as possible to be on the safe side.

Just done my longest journey so far with the new cat back, & the noise is a fare bit intrusive in the cabin (as I said above) between 3500 - 4000 under acceleration.
But it sounds gorgeous from 4000 to the red line at 6000 (ish).

Would love to do the 'drive by vids, but will struggle to do them.

Does get a bit 'boomy' between 3500 - 4000 rpm, but I can live with that.
I took it to the local tyre & exhaust centre & they charged me £65.
The original exhaust has to be cut to clear the rear 'axle', but is easily put back if needed using a sleeve to bridge the cut.

#479367 Do U Find It Hard To Wheel Spin A Ecoboost?

Posted by E5GDM on 24 April 2015 - 04:20 PM

The ecoboost wasn't designed with wheel spin in mind, but for grown ups & fuel economy.

#478866 Fiesta St Or Focus St?

Posted by E5GDM on 22 April 2015 - 06:08 PM

Might be a different story if there was a 3 door focus, but a 5 door 'hot hatch' just doesn't look right to me.
So I f I needed a 5 door family car I'd go for the focus, but as I don't the fiesta ST ticks all the boxes.

Must admit the 'Red' looks quite nice, much better than the 'black'. (IMO).

And opinion is all it is,
& if we all liked the same thing it'd be a boring world.
& we'd all be driving around in 'spirit blue' ST3's as well :)

Hypothetically speaking they would look best left in the box unpainted.
