Basically my new head unit comes with a usb cable that i can run anywhere i want problem is i want it next to the heated windscreen/rearscreen buttons and then fit esp button the other side.

Also the usb female fits perfectly into the gap on the back of the button now all i want to do is cut a hole so i can plug a memory stick etc in there the problem is i want it to look nice any ideas how? Was thinking dremel but might have to spray it after what do you lot think?

I usea Sandisc Cruzer Ultra Dual to transfer music straight off my phone and then plug the drive into my car.
USB one end and micro USB the other.

If yours is mini USB though then just use an adaptor, I don't know of any mini USB drives.

Thats probably the next best option then not too big either thanks

Any ideas where i can get a mini usb memory stick, it comes with the leads for normal usb but it would be handy to plug n play on the mini usb on the front of the unit too....ebay just comes up with miniature sticks?

#401407 Focus Mk2.5 Rear Arch Rusting?

Posted by theduke on 25 August 2014 - 06:17 AM

Looks like some lessons learnt here. If it was me I would challenge the 12 year corrosion policy and claim a design fault of the bodywork to allow crud to collect in this area making it repairable under the warranty. My wife's KA was fixed by Fords after an altercation with another car and the job was 100% top notch.

In that case ford were getting paid for it tho, Checking my service book and theres one missed service stamp and only one body and paint check stamp its probably going to take forever to get them to do it and for the sake of about £30 worth of materials and a lot of my time I am going to attempt it myself.

Ive painted wing mirrors and some engine dressing parts which turned out pretty dam good if I do say so myself in the past lol (and its a bit of extra practice before I get a zetec S kit for xmas :D  )
