#340418 Fiesta Zetec -> St Lookalike?

Posted by Hjalle on 08 March 2014 - 11:36 PM

If I were you I wouldnt go down the path of having an ST look a like - it can look a bit try hard

I would just embrace what I have but add a bit of sport, go for some bigger alloys, paint the callipers, lower it, and maybe put the bigger spoiler on

Start small and see how that looks, then if you still aren't happy start saving the pennies and go for the full hog

#297932 Just completed customer survey

I cant believe what I have just been reading, sales people turning to customers and blatantly asking 'please mark completely satisfied so that i can get my bonus'!

That is absolutely absurd, I would turn to this salesman and say 'Instead of asking for it, provide the service I require and make sure I tick the box on my own accord.' If i was told to do something like that, I would purposely not do it due to feeling pressured and the title not being earned.

I work in high end retail and have quickly learnt not to judge a book by its cover, no matter what the person that walks in the door looks like they should all be treated as potential customers and as if though they could buy everything in the shop. There are many a times I have thought to myself 'oh this person doesn't belong, they wont buy anything' and then they have continued to be my biggest sale of the day.

Respect, help, be polite and go the extra mile (whatever that might be, floormats, flowers on picking up your car, or throwing in merchandise its the extra that counts. Ive even given customers a pair of socks and they have been chuffed, due to it not being expected) thats what will make a customer completely satisfied and earn you a bonus, not begging.

#292413 What Have You Done With Your Car Today?

The black trim on my Fiesta was looking a bit sad and grey from the harsh Australian sun, so I decided to try some Meguiar Gold Class Trim Detailer.

Worked a treat and my trim looks as new again!  :P

#291672 Washing Your Fiesta

Posted by Hjalle on 22 September 2013 - 09:06 AM

Hey guys

I just thought I would start a poll to see how often you wash your car and what you do when you wash it? It is a pet hate of mine to have a dirty car, resulting in weekly washes.

Every Sunday is car washing day for me (its my relaxing time) I either wash by hand or take it down to the local car wash and use the hand power hose depending on how much time I have. I never use the automated machines though. I always wipe my car down afterwards and give the windows a bit of a polish to make sure my Fiesta is nice and shiny for the week.

My biggest hate is when my Fiesta is dirty and especially the brake dust that builds up on the front alloys. Anyone have any suggestions to reduce the amount of brake dust?

What about you, are you an anal car washer like me, or do you go for the natural dirty look?
