I remember hearing about a guy once who ended up crashing at a roundabout once because his throttle jammed open in a toyota was all over the news and he was on the phone to the police as it was all happening, so like jee says better safe than on back of a lorry.

Nice looking car im thinking of getting another subaru leagact gtb estate used to have one and I really miss it can get them for around $2000 and as ststandard came with 280 bhp 0-60 5.6 secs 0-100 13secs in standard spec, it was a beast with the mods I made finished up with 400 bhp but had to sell eventually, even tho it was on 100k it drove like new and put my mates porsche 911 to shame on quarter mile, now I have a garage im tempted to get one but insurance is stupid used only cos me 400 now when I check its more like 1000 :(

How about the egr cos ive also heard that if u blank it the sensor that picks up the flow of the gasses brings up a code? I wouldnt mind blanking mine off but cant be bothered clearing the code all the time if thats what happens

Ive got 2.0 tdci with 106000 on it on orignal dpf I had to top ip eloys just toped up with a litre as it last around 7-10 thousand miles I think, when I first bought the car 3 years ago I was doing a long drive and when trying to accelerate on motorway and the car wud judder violently so pulled over switched engine off left it a few mins started up and set off on my 200 mile trip home with no problems, I can only assume it was dpf clogging up as this didnt happen again until 2 months ago so I took it to my mate who said there was error code on saying dpf so he did a regeneration on it and its good as new again, if it ever gets so bad where it needs replacing ill try cleaning it, if that doesn't work ill just drill holes threw it lol make sure whatever oil you use is low ash oil as the stuff I used wasnt this time ove used mobil fe 300 5-30

#286346 Tuning Box "this Old Chestnut" ;0)

Only problem I have found with these boxes os yestersay I hooked up my torque pro app after not using it for a couple of weeks and checked for fault codes and up popped p0002 which is to do with fuel pressure I think but I had box turned up full and actually reset the ecu when I did this a few weeks ago, but a week ago I turnes it down and I think because I turned it down and the ecu had learned how I drived and how much fuel was going in and because I turned it down I think ot messed it up id didnt go into limp mode or anything but I cleared thecode and its been fine last couple of days so be careful how u use it o usually reset ecu each time I change the settings as the ecu learns better, (apparently lol )
