Or maybe some people drive with a Sat nav for a living all the time?

I'd not even bother crossing fingers unless I was driving at 90 in a 40 or something!
But seriously I understand the worry feeling as a professional driver myself but I've had times where I was sure I was going too fast but wasn't after all!

From what you have said..no..I wouldn't worry.
I drive to my Sat nav speed because speedometers are themselves calibrated using gps and have never had a problem.
I believe you are allowed ten percent plus two so correct me if I'm wrong you won't have a problem unless you are driving at 46+ in a forty.
The law is of course anything over 40 but accuracy of speed checking devices allows some leeway.
