Health and safety manager for a certain Television / news / radio operator that I can't mention for some reason but it's generally the first one that comes on when you turn the TV on. Hi everyone, been a while.

KFC is like the Feast of kings imo, £13 will buy you a mighty tasty banquet.

Maccdys is for people in Corsa's and MX5's to troll around in.

Burger King is for people who like £10 for a meal that's marginally better than McDonalds.

GTA just makes me lol

I love the way in the game that everything results in the DEATH penalty, even bumping into the police get's you executed, not the like old days where you got arrested etc.

Rockstar took a good punt on US policing here, they must hate it. Best Scottish export ever.

Nope it's 6 months Graham, been there and done that, took from November to May to get the letter, thought I well and truly got let off for months and months. you can a minimum 14 days notice to appear in court or receive punishment.

Seeing a Hero in a Focus ST225 jump a motorway barrier this morning, between m4 and m25, missed BOTH lanes and went straight through the middle bits and jumped it, complete write off. HEROIC stuff well done, extinction is calling for you sir.

What was it that came close? These things need to be less trivial. someone on here may end up getting murdered over this game.

It is a shame they didn't go nuts like with the old Supras on that, would be pretty decent if it had a decent lump on it, pretty damn pricey compared to the likes on an Astra VXR or Focus ST etc, just doesn't make sense for them to put an NA engine in it when everyone else is going down the boosted route, pretty poor torque as well, 151lbs is less than my old Clio.

Still OT it's worth keeping the ST, in fact it may be worth if you like it that much chucking like another 4K at it and taking it up to like 350+BHP and destroy most cars on the road. ignore the warranty part, doesn't matter if it has warranty or not it will still cost money to fix, unlinked items are still covered anyway. would probably be more fun to have at stupid powers too over anything else.

Sure it's normal, it's normal because they are all sounding like that.

I'd challenge them to prove what is making the noise, be it broken or what. it's not a normal sound at all. if they cannot say it's X component that makes that noise and yes it is supposed to and did in testing then frankly it's abnormal.

Keep it for a while tbh dude, there isn't really better out for under £30K even the Focus ST is a huge difference for what .01 better on the 0-60 and they aren't that much bigger. unless something really special comes out I'd keep it.

But you can sell yours anytime Phil, after 3 years you'll be in profit most likely, PCP is just bye bye car and all the money.

Here's a abetter way, G2L are £110PM for a ZS in met paint, for 2 years with only £1k down, save the 100 a month for something else. much better than carwow.

Renewing it after the 2 year period for another 2 years if you really want another one is still cheaper than the first term almost.

#489556 My Beloved Car Stolen 16Th May

Posted by MattDRX on 26 May 2015 - 11:44 AM

I still don't get all this dummy OBD port etc, why not just remove the block until you need it and save some money, any thief who opens it up and finds it isn't there is going to go away pretty quickly anyway.

Relocating it may just annoy the dealer if you go in for warranty work, plus all this serial posting of relocating it to X point in the car just gives said thieves the heads up, they do look on car forums you know.

Just pull the fuse and remove the block and keep it in your drawer / safe somewhere, it won't go anywhere then, Disclocks....well after buying a set of rake keys for £9.99 ( after watching all of Dexter I was curious and took the internet and thought let's give it a go for fun )  I could unlock it in seconds, same for any regular key based lock, look them up easy peasy to pick any kind of lock, just out dated now.

A cat will cost no more than £100, cheaper than chucking stuff like plugs, leads, cleaning chemicals which don't really work and man hours and labour etc to do it. it's the best bet, always cheaper to repair than replace.

DONT BUY from Fraud either, they are mental money, look up cats2u they sell cats for all cars for pretty much under a ton, Cliosport ones are currently listed at £987+VAT for some reason, insane money. and you'll need a new cat fitting kit, the bolts will be molten by now and the springs either rotten or missing making it a pig to put back on if you need to go and get one there and then, always use a new kit, plus a new clamp for centre pipe, red silicone won't go a miss either at this join, not rated to several hundred degrees C but works pretty damn well, better than that putty crap.
