#431649 Engine Bay Rattling And Loss Of Power

Posted by MattDRX on Today, 12:20 PM

Anyone having issues also write to Mark Ovende, MD of Ford UK

movende1@ford.com

I wrote them an email and directors office sorted a few things for me back in May. should have mentioned that a while ago.

If they don't sort it then perhaps we should organise a blockade of the dealership with a fleet of Fiestas, form a picket line and demand they fix it.

#429970 My First Speeding Fine :(

Posted by MattDRX on 20 November 2014 - 02:51 PM

As said above he won't get to see any proof unless he goes to court, the fines and costs then increase more than it's worth / risk factor of losing. you're talking of seconds of the limit changing and isn't worth challenging.

I didn't mean using the laser jammers, I mean a proper radar jammer, nothing can read through these and they are illegal to use in the EU without a license but iirc only Military have them, they are cheapish to buy but no Gatso or handheld unit will pick it up, car goes through the Gatso, Gatso thinks the car is doing some silly speed and flashes either too early or too late and the photo doesn't back it up, the handheld units get a reading of around 11 times the cars actual speed.

Can only be bought from non EU nations and the penalties will be quite severe for using lol

#429698 2.0 Mk2 Focus Engine Upgrades Help

Posted by MattDRX on 19 November 2014 - 05:16 PM

you'll need a lot more than that to do it,

You'd need either a Turbo kit, ITB's or a Supercharger. a good 10K budget to hit that, or just get a Focus RS and already be there for less.

#429318 Ebay Sand Timer Clock Icon Scam?

Posted by MattDRX on 18 November 2014 - 10:48 AM

There is already a massive Fraud issue on Ebay as it is, all you need is TOR to randomise your IP and Ebay actually allows Darknet IP's remarkably, and have items sent to POboxs ( never ever send to a POBOX address it's always a scam ) and then just pay using virtual payments like this, nigh untraceable and all they do is collect the item from the PObox ( mail boxes etc ) and then claim from ebay it was never received, paypal always refund the buyer and do nothing for the seller,

In short, never send anything to a non confirmed paypal and ebay address, and never to a PO BOX, you will get scammed.

#429092 Keyless Major Major Flaw!!!

Posted by MattDRX on 17 November 2014 - 02:47 PM

You won't "hotwire" any of these cars with an immobiliser, but you can brick the window plug a key reader into the OBD port, get the coding, and program a new key there and then and bye bye car, thieves these days stand no chance of nicking a mk3 fiesta due to skill shortages, all new cars are very easy using the method above.

Google Audi rs4 stolen is 30 seconds, easy peasy.

#429077 Fuel Filler Flap

Cars don't seem to mind you having more than one of them either.

#428140 St Colour And Sat Nav

Posted by MattDRX on 13 November 2014 - 04:04 PM

They also service and tax it.

It's nice to own things in the end of the day but when it's this much cheaper it makes sense to lease.

Plus if it's knackered at the end of the term just go bye bye problems.

#428036 St Colour And Sat Nav

Posted by MattDRX on 13 November 2014 - 11:02 AM

Get a white one with Orange inserts, you can be as cool as me and Dmizz.

Sat Nav is pretty weak tbh, but given the price if buying new just get an ST3, for the money it's just logical to do it whole hog, plus CC is included which is pretty boss tbh, must better than turning these stupid pauper spec clicky wheel things.

The most I post on here the more I actually dislike this car.

#427490 I'm Thinking Of A Little Upgrade.

Posted by MattDRX on 11 November 2014 - 01:02 PM

unsure why'd you think it's stupid pricing, insurance is all risk based, stats show that hooligans in 1.2's tearing about have the most accidents so therefore insurance is higher, it's cheaper for me to insurance a Ferrari F355 than it is an Old Punto GTT or R5GTT. all based on stats of accidents and PI claims only, not ones opinion of the car and what is supposedly mentally quicker ( 1.5 seconds or so in this case )

Think my NS is held in by Gravity alone, that giant clip is a mare snapped it right off and the clips wouldn't come out so I snapped em off like a BOSS!
