#407100 Scottish Independence Poll

Posted by MattDRX on 08 September 2014 - 06:39 AM

Funny how Europeans living in Scotland can vote on this but I can't, you don't want Westminster making the calls but Germans can??? Anyway just at Gatwick as of to Italy for work, contractor I'm travelling with said your holiday costs will double, UK rates are the cheapest going by far and currently all contracts state for UK market only so they'll need to be resigned and meaning you'll be a lower market share means higher prices, booking with a UK company will get your booking cancelled, had this when I worked with Hotels4u with yanks booking Caribbean hotels and the hotels made us cancel them, and the Spanish booking their own hotels.

#405486 How Good Are Police Drug Dogs?

srs though they are very very good, unless smarter than the average bear the police will always find it, even if they can't find it there and then they can seize the article / vehicle / premises until they do, if they suspect something it's probably 99.9999999999% certain there is something going on.

If you need to store them in a warehouse for a while, break the floor up, put in boxes and baggie and concrete over the top and place machinery on top of it.

Got a drug run to make? Best thing to put it in the fuel tank, or inside a tyre if you've got a mate in the trade, tyre off, drugs in, tyre back on, never find it in there due to being air tight.

Think its a joke, I was born in Aberdeen and all my family are from there but no one gets a say, I'll be a foreigner by default. Don't think it'll happen personally but the only thing that'll swing it is the hate for the English, forgetting about the Irish and Welsh at the same time, remarkable how 5m people believe one politician and not the business leaders who are the ones they should pay attention to, complete joke.

This thread is racist, it doesn't take into account the southern fairy members.

#404432 Whats Your Barmy Health And Safety Experience? If Any.

Posted by MattDRX on 02 September 2014 - 06:50 AM

I work in H&S and that's nothing, the hazard there is present regardless how small so they have to do that, I had a complaint come in from some polish dude who went white water rafting last week with us in France. .....He wants a refund as we told him when he got there he couldn't take part, because he informed staff on arrival he couldn't swim....sorry you can't swim and thought one it'd be ok to do so and 2nd it's our fault because we didn't make you aware that you need to swim...insert swear words here....to finish it off I got a bollocking as my risk assessment didn't mention clients should be able to swim other wise can't take part....even if they could I doubt an Olympic swimmer could swim in those waters but never mind.

Flux capacitor?

Yes, because getting rid of the car soonish and turns out is quite desirable, so the fact the breakers wants £50 for the full kit makes it more enticing to buyers, have the puddle lights now and global opening, tyre inflation detection ( very rare extra it seems ), soon enough it will be the fullest of specs going on the market and lure a would be buyer in.

Hope you vacuumed before you rofl'd

#404077 Tailgaters! What Can Be Legally Used To Dissuade The Morons ? Discuss

Posted by MattDRX on 01 September 2014 - 12:26 PM

Post the Video up, TROLL the Police, make their lives a misery, if it was you they'd have a bit of fun with you, do unto others n all.

OT, best way to learn them, on single carriage way in each direction, what I do is slow down a little....when they go to overtake drop it into 2nd and gun it and keep them next to you in the other lane, when oncoming traffic gets that bit closer they'll go into a right panic lol works every time and watching the hand gestures going on behind you is pretty lulz worthy, unsure if OT because it mentions legally, unsure if Illegal if staying within speed limit, but all in good fun,

Plus if they crash it's lesson learned, the other drives gets compo + the possibility of being rid of a car they might dislike ( possibly a lot of pain too )

#404067 Fiesta Service

Posted by MattDRX on 01 September 2014 - 11:35 AM

You don't have to have it done by the Stealer, as long as it's stamped in the book it's fine for warranty,

Use someone on Checkatrader or the like and get a £99 Jobby, all you need is a basic service, Oil and Filter change, the rest is just "visual" checks, and then next year same again but with brake pads, possibly spark plugs if needed and Air filter but buy it yourself as cheaper.

#403016 I'm Thinking Of Buying An Ecoboost 1.0Zetec Do You Have Any Tips

Posted by MattDRX on 29 August 2014 - 01:29 PM

Nope all Turbo'd, be a bit silly to have an Ecoboost without the Boost, Ford way of calling it a turbo without scaring off the women and old dears who think they are super cars and crap on fuel.

#402637 Can You Pass On Insurance Quotes To Another Company?

Posted by MattDRX on 28 August 2014 - 04:23 PM

Data protection applies to consumers, Businesses need to address confidentiality in the material itself, which I haven't seen before on a quote.

#402597 If You Didn't Have Yours What Would You Have - Type Only..

Allow these RS500 and Cosworth Malark, How about an RS200? Much more exotic and BOSS!

Or a 60's GT40, just so I could go under car park barriers.
