Comes with the Harmon Kardon stereo but no active dampers, just comes with Msport suspension, options can be added but the entire cost is front loaded onto the two year lease agreement so works out quite pricey when looking at the expensive add ons,can have internet access in the car too for £95, can then stay in touch whilst driving ( Brilliant Idea BMW ) would like professional entertainment package but it's a stonking £1500 so another £63 a month alone, I don't mind paying £600 for the HK one as I love my tunes and so worth while, much better than the Bose stuff VAG cars have.

Hopefully it comes back Ok and I can have it, still keeping the Fiesta though no incentive or major desire to get rid given it's costing me nothing now.

I love having the windows down, in a month or so we won't be able to for god knows how long so got to make the most of it, I know the window option will be more uneco but was wondering if the trip will actually show this.

Negative Camber = Better Cornering.

Camber will be affected. Try some cooksport springs more expensive than eibachs but much better and of course ride comfort will be stiffer with all lowering springs.

Lol cheers I reckon 5 litres just came out of it, covered 2 parking spaces. Had to call the coast guard after I got washed away when I unblocked the hole.

Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app

#392700 How Do I Know If Overboost Is Working?

Posted by MattDRX on 01 August 2014 - 01:46 PM

Other countries advertise as 200BHP as in the EU you cannot produce statistics on a limited basis, hence the 180 figure.

If you come off the throttle on OB the cooldown of 35s kicks in ( I've asked Ford directly how it works and they eventually parted with the info )

You should always be able to hear the spool, I can hear mine perfectly inside the cabin

Overboost has a cool down time of 35 seconds and only lasts for 15 seconds. It's hard to keep track of when it's on properly. You can hear it when it's going though, louder spool.

#392313 How Much Would This Cost To Repair?

Posted by MattDRX on 31 July 2014 - 03:49 PM

Chips away just use acrylic paints and don't last very long, just fade and in the end wash off. the whole panel needs painting in the end of the day and that's the sort of money it costs I'm sorry to say, paint alone with hardeners and lacquer will be £50's worth with a few hours labour and prep @ £40odd an hour it all adds up.

With regards to the G-Force and a better track car with all the tech goodies, get rid of the ST and get either a Meg / Clio RS, much more suited and have all these goodies on them already.

The Clio even has an option to produce sound effects to sound like a GTR , Clio V6 and others.

The only tool a real driver needs are his eyes to check how far behind the opposition is, anything else just adds weight.

#391504 Corsa Vxr

Posted by MattDRX on 29 July 2014 - 06:24 PM

The 1.2 unlimited edition is around 1600kgs so have a guess around that mark lol burg editions have a twin exhaust rather than that triangular one and came out in 2011 iirc.

Esp will reduce power to stop it spinning, so when dragging what you want to do is let the tyres down a touch and turn it off on a decent surface and you'll never wheel spin in most cases and let all the power down.

Surprising tbh, what year was the vxr? The corsa is a lot heavier by a few hundred kgs iirc but it's 192ps on ob so not more powerful at all. The final gears are a lot longer though, I know it revs a lot lower at those speeds. Plus 1 for esp being off, tragedy you can't keep it off, just goes so much better and more eager down round the twisties as the vxr lot call them.
