Colour looks nice on that shape focus. I never use soap on my cars. Just damp cloth then a wash. Once every 6 months give it a good wax.

U can get surface mount version of metallica picture. I had a twin port done on my headunit. Make sure u check on headunit my Usb port could pull 2500ma. Most ports are 500ma.

I'd suggest there tied back on the loom. I can't see ford making up different looms. I usento work at dhl/jag and landrover. We had 1 main looms for like 6 diff trim levels.

Vtec was a great design of keeping torque and high end power. High lift cams slow u down with normal 1000-3000rpm driving

U need grand just for mapping and ecu. This route is only if your serious want more power. But engine swap would be better. Or sell ur car and get a ST225

I'm a mot tester for a couple of years.

I wouldn't fail the car on washers because your car was built before 2010. But self leveling projectors aren't the same as height adjustment. In the cab.

My mk4 escort as self level projectors off eBay for 60quid

I agree with stoney. You will need a virgin chip/transponder to be programmed to the car.

It gets overlooked on older cars sadly.

If it was my car is check all bushes and balljoints then brakes and carriers. If all that is fine I'd look for accident damage.

Car before i started

i give car good clean and started to remove the 1.4 Carb Engine

Cutting out old battery tray for new panel to be welded and sealed

Changed the number plates to legal ones.

Test fitting the RS Archs and Skirts for cutting and ajustments for 5 door.

Starting to remove brake servo. (clutch/ Choke/Speedo cables ect)

Update. i removed the cam and cranked the engine. Engine seems to spin fine. so i dont think there no bad damage. (maybe few sightly bent valves)
