Yeah....i think i may end up just seeing what turns up as part of the kit. I might have to construct something to make it work more efficiently. But for £170 it should be damn near perfect

I ended up going to a local tyre place. He used a pneumatic chisel to put a grove into them and then turned them off using it. Took him 15 minutes. Charged me £10

I'm gonna stick with my current 17's for now. They aren't huge. But I like them. I have seen some replica ST wheels for £400, but they can wait....

And, I know I could do with some new locking nuts

I think the shocks are ok. The car is a 2010 model so they shouldnt be in a bad state.

I looked at full coilover kits and saw some for around 250...which seems quite cheap, and you always get what you pay for.

I don't mind a stiffer ride as I do a lot of Motorway miles, and I've got used to sitting in the passenger seat of a Civic Type R which is like being sat in a go-kart

I've finally decided that I'm going to lower the Focus but I have a few questions....

1) How much should I lower it by? 40mm seems the standard amount when I have looked at kits. My car has the 'handling' pack but I'm not sure if it is already lower than a standard focus setup....it doesn't look it.

2) Any recommended kits that people have already fitted? I've been told that Eibach kits are alright, but any opinions welcomed

I'm not the guy who prints letters asking you for money, nor the guy who knocks on your door asking for a meter reading, they are outsourced anyway.

I just work out how many people we need to deal with demand from customers. Quite possibly one of the most boring jobs ever.

I love a good spreadsheet though ☺

#410306 Tailgaters! What Can Be Legally Used To Dissuade The Morons ? Discuss

Not sure if this has already been covered, but the one thing that really winds me up is people who cut up your safe driving distance....

I am not a serial speeder by any stretch, but if the traffic in the 'fast lane' is doing 80mph I will keep up with it.

I do a lot of motorway driving and I will leave a good 1.5-2.0 second gap to the car in front, and some idiot will always cut in and force me to drop back a little bit more.

It borderline makes me angry when it happens constantly.

I refuse to drive too close to people, I value my life and I love my car
