Whatcar Recommended Fiesta??

Currently I have a fiesta 1.6 tdci that is coming up to 3 years old, so time to change; I do not do the mileage to justify a tdci.  Whatcar recommends the 1.25 . 82ps zetec, anybody got any thoughts about whether they are correct to make that model the best buy?

Have seen one report online that the Fiesta facelift is due in September 2011, can anybody confirm if this is accurate, if so is there any sign of what they are going to do.......cheers

2011 Focus Sport (Old Model)

Wondered what people on the focus forum think of the 1.6 sport(old model)that ford will sell for the remainder of 2011, the cheapest price i have found is £11,881.92,this seems to be a good price even if it is an outgoing model, however i have read a lot about the petrol 1.6 100ps being underpowered and it is very thirsty on petrol,,,,,,any guidance appriciated..cheers

Mk7 1.6 Tdci Engine Revs Went Hyper

Hi guys wondered if anybody had this problem before, driving along suddenly notice a warm / hot smell in the cabin for a few seconds, then the revs of the engine went really high,(lost drive i think) quickly turned engine off, restarted and everything was fine, no warning lights came on, thought it might have been air con gone wrong but tried it and it is working fine, or could it be a dodgy Turbo. any body had a similar expierence??
