I think it would look a bit funny, rather do the proper cut out of the rear defuser and have it come out straight like the ST does

Did I just find a wormhole in Space and time? or did the Doc mess with my Fiesta and converted it into a Delorean DMC?

#425009 What Do You Like Better Mk7 Or Mk7.5?

Posted by Jeff4155 on 03 November 2014 - 09:37 AM

I think it all depends on the model you choose, if you compare a MK7 high spec car with a low spec MK7.5, the chances are good the MK7 will win, personally for me the price won me over with the High Spec MK 7 in my budget with 30k km on the clock still cheaper than the lowest MK 7.5 new out of the box, like I said before, the only way I'll trade up is if its a ST model

#399825 Gel Badge Overlays

I personally like mine, I think its all about the colour combo you choose, I send my paint specs to the guy who does them in SA and he matched the colour up perfectly, I'f they looked out of place I would have taken them off in a sec, but in all honesty the standard Blue badge looks out of place with the Blue colour of the car, just by looking at them you won't even notice they are only Gels, but then again if I had gone for something like red font with yellow background on the blue car, it would have been a different story.

As I have said before, the tint makes a huge difference, car just looks more upmarket than without, and in my case it helps with the sun as well, good luck with the mods.

Very nice, I like how you do everything to make it look as if the car came out with it, thanx for the info about the lights, may I ask what the name was for the HID lights that you purchased, so I don't make the same mistake purchasing a cheap set?

#388495 Light Tint Spray Removal.

Posted by Jeff4155 on 22 July 2014 - 07:14 AM

have you tried thinners on the lenses, that tends to remove anything? sorry I don't know the product, but before sanding the lens try a bit of thinners or metholated spirits, just don't get it on the paintwork of the car, ask Mr. Bean what happens.

Wow, that is Green I'm guessing you must live in the USA? that colour does really suite the car with the mountune kit.

It does look good with the dark blue colour, sorry for my ignorance, but how do you tint it, is it a spray or a laminant?

Jip, and I don't like the US steering wheel, its way to bulky, do they pack an extra large airbag or what? while were on that topic
