Fiesta 09 Alloy Wheel Replacement/Spare Wheel

03 January 2010 - 02:19 PM

heya,

i have managed to ruin one of my wheels in a pot hole, i remember reading somewhere you can use a MK 6 or MK 6.5 steel wheel. Obviously as its the new fiesta i dont have a spare wheel just a tyre destroyer kit.

Can someone pleaase confirm what other steel wheel i can use for the time being whilst im waiting for the new one to arrive. etc...

Many Thanks
Martyn

Mk7 Bass issues

04 July 2009 - 04:38 PM

i have noticed some peopel mentioned it in other threads although not a thread is created for it, been searching for the last hour!.

the radio in mine has bass untill volume 15 and then the bass vanishes, this is all to do with bass supression in the radio to protect the speakers, does anyone know how to disable it!

it ruins good music loud :),

i have adapter volume on 7 FYI. and when u go below 15 like to say 13 the bass reappears,

i need to either:
A replace the speakers for some infinities etc...
B disable it in the software.

PS:
Over 8000 miles now :(

get a life, just because your car is not the current model does not mean you need to try and show off how good your old car is people do not care!(this is not aimed at anyone in person)

sorry, maybe some of you others have had old fiesta drivers try and cut you up or show off how good there old fiesta is.

what is the point? i aint gonna thrash my new car to beat your crappy old car!

MK7 - Passenger Door Lock Problem

10 May 2009 - 03:52 PM

Here listed in the passenger door lock problem i have mentioned in my other thread,

Does anyone here have this problem. To find out try this:
1. Get in the car with a passenger
2. Shut the doors
3. Lock the car from the button under the hazzard light, it should glow yellow
4. now open the drivers door
5. Has the light gone off instantly and the car unlocks?

IF yes go to TEST2.
IF no you have what ford term as "The european door lock error"

TEST2
1. Get in the car with a passenger
2. Shut the doors
3. Lock the car from the button under the hazzard light, it should glow yellow
4. now open the passenger door
5. Has the light gone off instantly and the car unlocks?

IF yes you have no problem with your car. - i doubt there is many!
IF no you have what ford term as "The UK door lock error"

PLEASE:
Post back if yours has this problem too, ford have been trying to sort it out on mine since the 1st week in march! and yes they admit its a fault on the locking system.
