#249724 Bp Fuel

Posted by mitch84 on 06 April 2013 - 09:35 AM

Just advertisement as far as I'm concerned

I get supermarket fuel and Shell fuel and not noticed any difference so I dont think I will notice any change if I got BP fuel

I cant see how anyone can notice a change in mpg from different fuel company's there are so many different factors that can change mpg , weather , style of driving and how your driving went on a certain journey you took that day.

#160297 New Zetec S !!!!!

Posted by mitch84 on 09 January 2012 - 01:39 PM

I like the look of the ZS but im still not sure on the rear lights, as someone mentioned it does look a bit like the civic type R at the back but thats not a bad thing.

In terms of my preference of style at present its in this order

1. mk 3 ZS apart from the lights (based only on pictures)
2. mk 2.5 like the shape and the facelift and the clear coded rear light strips and looks great in silver and black
3. mk 3 again don't like the rear lights and to much grill going on at the front

Thanks that looks great. Yeah thatís basically the reason I chose black too. When itís clean, it gleams. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take for your car to be delivered from the date you ordered it?

I think Black stays cleaner for longer than white, my fiesta was white and after I washed it a week later it would look dirty again, my black focus seems to look cleaner for a little longer , although both are the worst for showing dirt.

Hopefully will give mine a clean this weekend , it will be its first since buying it in November.

#156297 Derv Zetec S..........

Posted by mitch84 on 13 December 2011 - 10:37 AM

I know your probably all going to hate me for sayingthis,
but i much prefer the Mk2.5 Zetec S

Iím not mad on the Mk3 interior or front grill area but thatís just my opinion
which i probably should keep to myself

I with you on this Lenny , I prefer the mk2.5 style , the front grill and rear lights don't do it for me.

Just checked the Alltronix website for you mate and heres the story:

P21w is the bulb size fitment and the brightness of a standard bulb

BA15s is the socket in the car that the P21w bulb fits in to
this fitment will also accept the cree Q5 as it is built based on a P21w standard bulb and designed to be a direct replacment for the P21w Bulb

thats good news as ive ordered it!

may match it with the plate leds as long as they are bright and light up the number plate fully?

cheers Lenny

#154182 Focus Dashboard Esp????

If you see esp light on then it normally means its off , so basically if its not showing on your dash all is good and its on.

ESP - Electronic Stability Programme. Stability control uses clever electronics and a car's braking system to prevent skids during emergency manoeuvres.

#95091 Petrol Debate Concluded For Mk7 Fezza?

Posted by mitch84 on 29 August 2010 - 09:21 AM

Hey Guy's. Haven't been here for a while but still loving my fezza :D
I have a question about the petrol you can use. I have noticed that it's a lil underpowered if I have the radio, automatic air con, headlights on and going up a hill for instance. I knew it was not a Ferrari when I brought her (It handles just like one though!!) So I have searched on here about the fuel you can use.
It seems their is no real conclusion that I can find so am asking really if I use a higher then 95 ron fuel in my petrol 1.6 Zetec S mk7 will I get better performance or no gain at all? I try to alway's put BP's standard unleaded in, but have not put any of the special fuels in.
I looked in the manual and on the sticker in the fuel filler cap but all they said was 95 ron minimum so not much help. Also after searching on here I see people talking about a KNOCK sensor which will boost engine performance with higher octane fuel but again I could not find any conclusion as to weather my car has one or not?

Does anyone know the answers? I have to have my first service at the end of September so maybe I'll mention it needs a boost in power? Not fussed about the cost at present and I drive 20 miles to and 20 miles from work if that helps.mJust would like a little bit more power as I use my air con a lot.

ive tryed the shell performance fuel and i can say there is no difference at all.
