About Me

Hello. My name is Paul, though I go by the name of 'Sarc' so as not to get confused with the other Paul (who I'm sure you all know) on these forums. Originally from the Newcastle area, (well just south of), me and my beloved missus have now lived in a wonderful part of the world near Dumfries for the past ten years - where the local peeps are just as warm and friendly as the Geordies.

We are the proud owners of a brand new Ford Fiesta Mk7. It's a Colorado red Zetec 1.4 (3-door/petrol/manual transmission). No extra options were ordered, apart from a real spare wheel, instead of the 'shaving foam' tyre repair kit which is normally supplied. (We very sadly :( put in our old friend, an eleven year old Renault Megane, under the Government's scrappage scheme - couldn't have afforded a new car otherwise).

I ordered the car on 21st July, (in the year two thousand and nine). It was initially supposed to be on order for the dealership themselves, (either as a showroom model or demo I guess), but they said they could let me have it instead, and they would just re-order one for themselves at a later date. Their own spec was for a 1.25 model, but they said they could get Ford to upgrade it to a 1.4 which is what I was after. All-in-all this probably saved about two weeks off the normal waiting time.

It was built in Valencia, Spain on 5th Sept and I eventually collected it from the dealers in County Durham on 29th September 2009.

Anyway, that's about it for now. Please feel free to read my own personal REVIEW of the Fiesta Zetec 1.4 HERE if you are interested. (It also includes loads of photos).

Cheers,

Sarc. :)
