Well that is what got me thinking about Ford and how in the last 40 years or so, has anyone done such affordable thrill a minute cars as well as they have.
The Ford RS badge needs no introduction for any Ford fan as it has bought super saloon thrills for those on a family hatchback budget.
Ford's Rally Sport to give it it's full name has been going more than 40 years, with the first RS being released way back in 1970 with the Escort RS1600 and the Capri RS2600 in the same year.
Since then, a total of 22 cars have been released under the RS badge.
We are going to look at what we think are the most significant cars of the Ford RS age.
