Loading...It's only two days to go until Chelsea AutoLegends opens it's gates on 2nd September at the Royal Hospital in Central London!
To get in the mood, we went to meet one of the very generous people providing the show with some of the most amazing cars.
John Reaks will be bringing two particularly rare cars from his collection: a Benetton F1 car, driven to success by the one and only Nelson Piquet Sr. back in the 1990s, and a Ferrari 288 GTO, one of three Ferraris he owns.
His collection is a pretty remarkable one that includes a Ferrari F40, a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, a Ferrari 288 GTO, two Caterham Sevens, an Audi RS4 and the centre piece, the remarkable Benetton F1 car.
John runs the F1 car at various events with the help of his two friends, Chris and Andy, without whom it would be impossible to start.
Not only will the car be showing it’s face at the show, but the public will get a unique chance to hear it being booted up at about 4pm on show day, not one to be missed!
We will certainly be there to see it, and we look forward to seeing you there as well.
