Loading... Men in Black – 1987 Crown Victoria
This is one of the stranger uses of a Ford car in film.
In the 1997 blockbuster, Men In Black, Agents K and J drove the streets of New York in a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria.
The choice of car was probably due to the fact that until recently the Crown Victoria has been th quintessential police car in the States, and MIB were a kind of police.
It is hardly a Mustang or a GT40 but it did have a V8, albeit a lazy one.
This is of course not your showroom standard given the fact that it had the ability to turn into a rocket car capable of travelling upside-down in a tunnel.
But you never know, cars that appear in futurastic films sometimes do get built, just look at the Audi which appeared in i-Robot, that was soon released in the form of the Audi R8.
Something tells me though that making a version of this Crown Victoria might be a bridge too far.
