I know we have mentioned it when talking about Men in Black but the Crown Vic is probable the most used car in films from the last 20 years.
That is because it has been the car of choice for American Police and Yellow Taxis, particularly in New York .
So the Police cars crashing while chasing Nicolas Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds and the Taxis in the tunnel with the Men in Black car, most of them are Crown Vics.
So next time you are watching a film from the 90s or naughties spare a moment to respect the contribution of the Crown Victoria who 9 times out of 10 will end up in the centre of a pile up.
