Brazil: Ford Boosts Funding For New Model
09/04/2010 One day after announcing investment plans for Argentina, Ford president and chief executive Alan Mulally has revealed additional funding for the company’s Brazilian operations. In November, the OEM had unveiled plans to spend Real 4bn (US$2.2bn) through 2015 in Brazil to boost production at its plant in Bahia state. It has now lifted this to Real 4.5bn to support plans for a new global model.
