We are constantly being told not to keep too many valuables in the car, well here is a way to carry one less.
TomTom has released a new version of their software for iPhone.
Having released their first version some years ago now, TomTom has released an updated app which includes all the latest maps and new functionality.
Whilst the first incarnation of the app had integration with Facebook Places, this new version has added integration with the social location app Foursquare.
It will also allow you to simply copy and paste addresses you find online on your phone making it much easier than typing away on the slow touch screen on a normal sat nav.
It is a fair bit cheaper than buying a new satnav as well, the app costs £49.99 from the iTunes app store.
But don’t worry if you already own the existing TomTom software, you can get the new update for free.
It has not yet been announced when this new update will be available for android smartphones.
