Two drivers lost their driving licenses on only day two of the famous Cannonball 2000.
It comes as the French Police clamped down on speeding and drink driving as fifty supercars race through their country as part of the London to Paris race.
One driver was clocked doing 98mph in a 68mph zone just north of Rennes and swiftly had their licenses taken away leaving them stranded with a supercar.
Hardly where they thought they would be after leaving Portsmouth at the start of the 2000 mile drive.
There have also been three speeding fines, and three more warnings plus a variety of drivers being pulled over for drink driving checks.
It has somewhat marred the party feel of the Cannonball 2000 which sees fifty supercars, often decorated in weird and wonderful ways, travel through five European cities before crossing the finish on the Champs Elysees in Paris on Sunday.
