Multiple wins for Ford at the Used Car Awards

Ford was a big winner at this year’s What Car? Used Car Awards, with the S-Max winning Best Used MPV for the third time and the Focus and Ford Estate also receiving accolades.
This is the second year running that the S-Max has won Best Used MPV. Chas Hallett, What Car? editor in chief, said: “The Ford S-MAX is a great people mover and has seats for seven. It’s also the MPV choice for people who are not great fans of MPVs. It offers flexibility, space and practicality, but drives and handles just like a regular passenger car, as well as being economical to own and run.”
Elsewhere the Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec Climate and Focus 1.6 Zetec Climate Estate were recognised for their value for money by winning the less than £6000 category. This continued the Focus’s history of dominance at the awards – it was previously voted top family car in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Mark Ovenden, Ford Britain managing director, said: “We consider it a great honour that award-winning models from the Ford range can go on to claim top honours a few years down the line as used cars. It’s a testament to their value for money, engineering and market appeal.”
