Has anyone done this ?

I have ordered rear axle's left & right side calipers / Discs beam from 1.8tdci .
Can i just fit the entire beam with all attached or not. Do i use my stock abs sensor or one on beam work ?
Anything else apart from handbrake cable & brake hoses needed ?
Any hint / tips or ideas welcome .
Btw my car has drums.

You don't need a rear axle. The parts simply bolt on.

Is this true? What about on the mk6 fiestas as I actually am looking at getting a rear ST disc beam very soon.

Does the mk6 not use the same/similar set up to the mk1 focus, swap the stub axles for disc ones.

The fiesta beam is all in one for both sides not like the focus which has independent suspension. I did ask my dad about this (as he does the main mechanic work 😂) and he said it may cost more to get the hubs, handbrake cable, splash shield etc separately compared to just getting the beam which has just about everything on it.

Strip everything off it though and use the parts. Saves faffing about dropping the rear beam when your working on the floor.

im pretty sure the stub axles and stuff are the same for them both, I might be wrong.
