I still ride my SUN GT10XL racing bike got it for my Christmas in 1977 and I still ride it even now up to the shops to get the weekly shop with ma rucksack on ma back! Nope the Original Elite was designed on a BBC Micro Model B 32K with developers expansion tools it was then ported to other machines, I used to know David Braben - very clever programmer his machine code maths was mind blowing! Does anyone else remember Outer Spacers - the space station round ones in yellow packet version (Mango Chutney flavour) - they were truly amazing i wish they would bring em back.
