Lindyw
Hello. New to the site and looking for help. I noticed my ford focus ecoboost 2014 (26000 miles) was leaking coolant . I have taken my car to a Ford maindealer. Paid £85 plus Vat for diagnostics and have been told it needs degas hose and a cylinder and cap replacing. £350 . I went to collect car yesterday and they are saying it needs further test (plugs being one of them ). Reading up online I am worried my engine mIght become faulty . My original degas hose was rubber and not the brittle version which doesn't tie on with Ford's recall. My car was never recalled. Can anyone advise?
