PATS light not working on 2014 fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi, The pats light on my car is not working. It used to flash but now it don't. The car starts and runs fine just the light does not flash anymore. I am worried my alarm don't work. Does anyone have any idea?

Looking at the fuse list it appears the PATS fuse is part of the ignition and instrument cluster, so it doesn’t look like Like it’s blown.

I would start with sitting in the car and locking it, wait a bit and then pop the bonnet, the alarm should start to sound.

Thanks. Will try that. Don't know if the Pats light has a bulb that might have gone. I had read that if someone sits in the car and lock it, then try and open the door from the inside it should set the alarm off but it didn't. If the bonnet thing don't work then may have to take a trip to the Ford garage.

a while back I asked how to tell if alarm works on my car so I know what it sounds like. I was told to do the same thing with locking myself in and pulling bonnet release. I am pretty sure I was told I have to wait a couple of minutes in between locking doors and pulling bonnet release. This did make my alarm sound.
