2006 Fiesta seatbelt dashboard light always on

Hi, I recently took my car to get an electrical test as my seatbelt warning is consistently on the dashboard. They told me that it is not an issue and no danger to mine or passengers safety, they said that it could be fixed by ford however it would cost hundreds. Is there any way I can take the bulb out or get rid of the light?

    Was a proper diagnostic test carried out on the car? for example faulty wiring under the seat at the connector or an inoperative seat belt latch switch would likely cause your type of issue.

    faulty wiring under the seat is probably a simple enough fix. the fault is likely on a connector.
